Configuration
Step-by-Step Guide:
- Navigate to Issues in the top menu of your Jira instance.
- Select Custom Fields from the dropdown menu.
- Click on the “Create Custom Field” button.
- In the “Select a Field Type” screen, choose “Advanced” in the left sidebar.
- In the search bar, type “SimpleGrid” to find the Simple Grid custom field type.
- Select SimpleGrid from the search results.
- Choose a name and provide a description for your Simple Grid custom field.
- Click on the “Create” button to add the Simple Grid custom field to your Jira instance.
- After creation, you may need to add the custom field to your desired screens. To do this:

Configure Grid Colums
- Search for the newly created Simple Grid custom field and choose “Context and Default Values”.
- Click on “Edit Configuration” to access the configuration settings.
- On the configuration screen, you will be able to add, edit, or remove columns from your table.
- Customize the column name, type and sortable
- Save your configuration changes to apply the updated settings to the Simple Grid custom field.
